Yesterday (June 8) at 9 am someone stole a large wooden carved bear from a front porch at 1107 Mellow Lane.

The perpetrator was a male approximately 5’2’’-5’7’’.  He was driving a white truck, either a Chevy or GMC.  It had an extended cab with a dark line across the bottom of the truck.  It also had mud flaps with no front license plate.

The perpetrator was wearing long khaki shorts, long socks, dark slippers, dark t-shirt and a ball cap.  He drove to the front of the house and parked his truck on the wrong side of the road.  He walked down the street then came back up and entered the front yard.  From there he stood at the front door over a minute then picked up the bear and walked back to the truck thru the driveway.  The theft was captured on surveillance cameras.

When he fled the scene, he backed his truck all the way down Mellow Lane.  He backed it all the way into Bliss Court.

If anyone saw this truck backing up or the male carrying the bear off, please contact John Thompson at 805-520-1689.

dogs

Attention Dog Walkers:

Please have consideration of others when walking your dogs. Please "scoop the poop" when your doggie leaves a present on someone's lawn. Also remember it is not just in Bridle Path but everywhere - leash law - do not allow your dogs to run loose without a leash - accidents happen and dogs (like people) often react in ways we do not expect!
